LOTRO

I have met up with a couple friends and they invited me to play here. So far I can either have pretty graphics Exclusive OR (XOR) Smooth gameplay. My vid card is a bit junky so likely the cause, Maybe with more memory I can have both.

Still a bit of the level grind, but I have found plenty I can do without leveling. I am on Crickhollow server with Teocyn and Bamko, Human hunter explorer and Hobbit Guardian (probably will be Historian). I do not play every day, but I always seem to have fun when I do play. Teocyn is in a Kin (what they call "guilds" everywhere else. Only game I actually wish I had more time to play it, but need to get back to my studies of C++.

Note: there is a extensive "you are destined to be a unique hero, just like everyone else" quest chain at the beginning, and throughout almost all of the lower level quests. I am tempted to stop doing them, but hard to get content without quests, so a hard choice. It looks like the deeds plus professions might be enough for a Rp-er, but I have not decided for myself yet.
